The 11 second club is a website which hosts a monthly competition for animators to compete in. The website posts a new sound file every month and to enter you have to submit a video relating to the audio.
It’s good seeing the different ideas which come from the sample clip and to see that they have so many visitors and followers who are willing to leave good and beneficial comments makes me wonder if we can get something similar for Chipbarm?
It looks like nature and technology always work well together when you know what your doing. This is a nice clip from Motion Theory for a Sony project. The Sony tv acts like a plant and ends up absorbing the Blu Ray player and evolving into a Sony VAIO. Im not sure when this was made but it looks good
"A whole new species is born" Campaign, created by 1st Ave Machine for Samsung.
I think the clip is done really well. The modal bird is just stunning and the life like movements must have taken some time to perfect. Looking over it again you can see minor changes such as when the lights come on, the object’s tend to increase its overall brightness. Effects like these are what make the clip so good at promoting the TV
1st Ave Machine has a nice video website which is really simple visually and simply highlights the great work they do and how to get in contact with a simple list of updates associated with that project and that is all.
You don’t get bogged down with the details and all you need is there in front of you, the work.
Only change I would suggest is the font, with certain videos it can be hard to see on some backgrounds but great work!
A music video by Enis Cisic which uses a lot of different media types. The graphical illustrations initially draw the viewer in and the 2.5D space help emphasizes the surroundings in the videos to produce a great video which combines and uses the different media types very well
Some very nice work by Honda on the Vimeo site. Not only have they used the normal area but by over laying the page with a .swf they can emphasize the imagery of the video www.vimeo.com/4281939
